Keeping Engaged As We Age

What is successful aging?

Why do some seem so vibrant and active at 100 while some in their 60s seem exhausted? We know about limiting health issues and hereditary problems, but why do people with the same health issues age so differently? Perhaps it has as much to do with choosing to be actively involved and engaged at any age and level. Whether it is within their community or their circle of family and friends, older adults who choose to mentor and volunteer seem to be more fulfilled, positive, energized and engaged in life. Please join us for an afternoon designed to educate and celebrate some of the organizations that inspire older adults to learn, grow and connect and the older adults who embody the spirit and knowledge of the importance of keeping engaged.
